Lonese Jacobs graduated from University of Cape Town in 2008 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. Shortly thereafter she found her special interest in Women’s Health and graduated from Stellenbosch University with a MSc in Physiotherapy, research based. Her research focused on the help seeking behaviour of women with urinary incontinence. She enjoys teaching both the public and fellow health professionals about female pelvic dysfunctions. Her goal in life is to improve the quality of life of as many women as possible by reducing the impact of their pelvic dysfunctions.
Her professional experience includes guest lecturing at the University of Cape Town to the undergraduate Physiotherapy students. She has presented the introductory course to Physiotherapist in the field of female pelvic floor dysfunctions.
She enjoys spending her free time cooking and baking for her family, cuddles with her kids and sunshine with her husband. And maybe some time to read a book.
