I am a physiotherapist with my interests in pelvic physiotherapy, pelvic floor functioning, continence, women’s health and pregnancy.
I graduated at the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa) in 2001 and then went to the UK in 2004 where I attended numerous postgraduate courses in the field and gained work experience. I am based in private practice in Fourways, Johannesburg.
Besides my clinical practice, I am involved in postgraduate training for the Pelvic and Women’s Health Society (a special interest group of the South African Society of Physiotherapy) and assist in postgraduate pelvic floor training and education. I am affiliated with the multi-disciplinary colorectal unit at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre and well as the multidisciplinary ‘My Sexual Health’ team.
I am a member of various professional bodies both locally and internationally and strive to keep up with advances in my field.
In 2016 I completed my Master Life Coach certificate. I also do life coaching programs and runs workshops incorporating a mind/body and holistic approach to health, healing and well-being. In 2019, I was certified as a TRE® (Tension and Trauma Release) Provider.
